Tunnel Trail

Tahoe and I hiked the 2 1/2 mile trail from the bottom of the Rim to the top. There wasn't actually a tunnel, but there was a long pipeline running down the mountain. Yellow camphorweed dotted the path.
This soft and fuzzy plant is nicknamed Indian toilet paper. Luckily, I've never been that deserate.

The trail is an old jeep road which was really steep in some places. It must have been created during the production of the pipeline.





I saw two snakes and lots of lizards.
