Canyons

These are the incredible LaBarge Canyon Walls. What a beautiful trail.

This is part of the Dutchman's Trail. We camped about 3/4 mile from Weaver's Needle.

This is where a rescue helicopter buzzed over me, looking for lost people.

A really cool view of Weaver's Needle with the seasonal rain.

At 1:16 PM, Kerri said...: Here's the story. Three people wandered away from the trail, were totally unprepared, and couldn't locate a landmark if it jumped out at them, so they spent a cold night in the desert and were found the next day - a mile from their car!
