Mt. Graham

This was my first time visiting Mt. Graham. It is called a "sky island" because the mountain is set in the desert, but it there is alpine forest on the top, complete with Douglas fir and Englemann spruce trees.

The views from the top are amazing; I could see a hundred miles away.

This is one of the few places I have found New Mexican raspberry bushes. The flowers are really fragrant.
