Montverde

Montverde is a Cloud Forest which means that there is so much moisture on the plants that they actually create clouds. We lucked out and went on a day when it wasn't cloudy.

There are a series of 8 bridges that allow visitors to view the rainforest canopy. It was a neat perspective.
Then, we hiked on the forest floor and marvelled at all the strange, beautiful, and exotic plants.
There are over 9,000 species of plants in Costa Rica.
