Manuel Antonio

Manuel Antonio was my favorite national park.
It included both the jungle and beach, so we could look out at the ocean while hiking through the rainforest.

There are over 300 species of trees in Costa Rica. They all had epiphytes (vines, bromiliads, and other plants) growing on them.
This is a coati eating a mango.
The crabs were all over the place, but they were very shy.
This is an iguana.

Heh... I gave mom a Bromeliad for her birthday. I wonder if it came from Costa Rica. J/K :-)

Again with the colors... I had NO idea that crabs could be so many different beautiful colors like that. Very cool.
