Frigates

It takes a male frigatebird 30 minutes to inflate his spectacular red pouch. Then, he shakes his head back and forth and puffs up his feathers as if to say,"That's right ladies, take a look!"
Both of the parents take turns in the nest, watching the little white chick.
Eventually, their downy white feathers turn silky black.
9,000 species of birds, animals, and plants live on the Galápagos. Hundreds of which exist no where else in the world. It's a "living laboratory."
