Tree Frog
This is a green and black poison dart frog. We saw him Carrara National Park. The bright colors warn predators of the toxins they exude from their skin. Their poison actually has medicinal value to humans and is used to treat certain diseases.

I have looked at poisonous dart frogs many, many times in different pet stores and none of them have had such beautiful, vivid colors like these do. They are SO pretty.
I should have put a couple of them in my pocket and brought them home.
