Blue Footed Boobies

The boobies blue feet serve no other purpose than to attract mates. The boobies perform an elaborate mating dance and choose mates with bright blue feet.

On a panga ride, we had the opportunity to watch an enormous flock of 800-1,000 boobies flying and diving for fish.

There are sea lions swimming just below the surface of the water, and they push the large school of fish up near the surfact. Then, it's diving time!
