Ko Phi Phi

The water is really weird here; you can walk out a hundred yards, and it only goes up to your chest. When the tide is low, it practically recedes all the way out to the rocks.
The island is shaped like an H with beaches on both sides, and all the buildings are squished on the tiny part in the middle.
Cats are lying around everywhere, and they kind of rule the island. We even saw one wander into a restaurant refrigerator to cool off.
Buddhists display these mini temples in their yards in front of their houses. They are like a shrine to Buddha where they can pray or leave food and drink as an offering.
