Shultz Pass

Tahoe and I went camping in Flagstaff a couple weeks ago. There were lots of wildflowers like this Indian paintbrush.

Tahoe stopped for a drink on the Shultz Pass Trail.

We hiked the Brookbank trail connecter with the Dry Tanks trail to see the view at the end.

Tahoe led the way as usual.

This was our reward, a fantastic view of downtown Flagstaff!

Even Tahoe was excited to check it out. He's normally freaked out by cliffs, so I told him to stay down, but I couldn't keep him from climbing up on the rocks with me for a better view.

The day started out beautifully, but I could see the storm building throughout our hike, and by the end, we were practically running to beat it.
