The Galápagos

The Galapagos archipelago lies 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador. There are 13 big islands and dozens of tiny volcanic rocks jutting out of the sea.

The tour operator was kind enough to complete some of my personal information, but I believe there has been a mistake!

Before landing in Baltra, the flight attendants opened up all the overhead bins and sprayed insecticide on our bags. Then, we had to walk over special mats and clean our hands with disinfectant gel. It's a good thing because Dana was really dirty, and who knows what she was carrying in.

Yay! We made it.
