Gila Springs.
Josh and I took the dogs to the park. You can see I had no problem at all walking both of them.
The ducks took one look at us and sought refuge in the lake.
Cowboy loves the water.
I am hoping Tahoe will learn a couple things from him.
1. Water is fun. 2. Dogs should jump in the car by themself.

The girls.
Boulder lounges on the kitchen table for much of the afternoon. It's flat, smooth, and warm. Purrfect.
The girls compete over who gets to sit on the highest part of the computer. Greta believes she always deserves this honor. Here, she is getting ready to swat her little sister.
Greta was walking along. Then she suddenly saw something imaginary, played with the rug, and groomed her tail - all within about 10 seconds.

Prescott Pines Inn.
We stayed at this cute bed & breakfast. My favorite part of the room was the fireplace. I think Josh liked all the doilies.
Here is our cottage. It is called the "Heather Room."
We ate lunch at the Prescott Brewery and walked around the courthouse square with Chris and Brandy. Later, Josh and I visited many of the pubs on Whiskey Row.
Watson Lake.
We explored this awesome lake, hopping from boulder to boulder.
The lake is low now, but I think the rings on the rock are pretty.
I know Tahoe would love this lake, so I will have to bring him in the spring.
Josh liked all the ducks. He didn't have his duck call, so I made some loud quacking noises. I think he was very impressed.
Raccoon tracks.

Agua Fria National Monument.
Tahoe and I visited the Pueblo la Plata ruins.
It was constructed between A.D. 1250-1400, and contained an estimated 120 rooms.
The site was named for Silver Creek which is in a beautiful, deep canyon just to the north.
I spent hours looking at the site. Tahoe found a buckhorn cholla bush, and I had to extract a large piece of the cactus from his skin.
I was surprised to find the structures in such good shape. There weren't any pictographs, but the basalt rocks are not really condusive to that.
Broken pottery, arrowheads, tools, and artifacts were scattered around the site.
