Indian Ruins

It has finally cooled down, and the light dusting of snow on the northern mountains made it feel downright wintry.
Tahoe and I explored these Indian ruins near Seven Springs. They were built by the Hohokam, probably a thousand years ago.
Since they have all fallen down, it was hard to tell what was what, but it was clear that a lot of people once lived here.

Seven Springs

Then, we played in the creek, and hiked Cave Creek Trail.
This gnarly old tree is clinging to the ever-eroding ground below.
The hike was quiet and peaceful, and we had the place to ourselves.

Dog Park

The boys and I decided to celebrate SuperBowl Sunday at the park.
They chased each other around the park until Cowboy got tired and Tahoe threw up from excitement.
Then, we went to the children's park, so I could play. It turns out that both dogs like to climb on jungle gym equipment and use the slide.
