Kaiser Canyon

Tahoe and I hiked along this dry creek to a small warm spring. There were lots of birds, lizards, wildflowers, and interesting rocks. The canyon walls were 400 feet high in some parts. Desert globemallow.
There were a few fun boulder hopping sections along the mostly sandy creek bed.
Strawberry hedgehog.
Then, Tahoe and I sloshed through Big Sandy River.
We camped in the desert near Wickenburg. There were lots of flowering banana yucca and joshua trees.

Duck Hunt

Tahoe stalks his prey in the wilds of the city park.
The ducks hide their fear of this ferocious beast.

A dog's life

Cowboy likes to sleep with his head propped up on pillows. It helps him snore better.
This is just pathetic.

Family Time

The relatives came over to mom & dad's house on Saturday night for dinner. Charles got tired, so he and sharky took a nap on the chair.
Brady is in her favorite spot.
Dana helped Lucy escape her bondage in the bathroom.
Gertie and Evelyn relaxed after a wonderful meal.

The Kiss

6 April 2007

Our wedding was magical. The outdoor patio and gazebo were beautiful, and Pastor Goll performed a nice ceremony for us. I was so nervous, but luckily Josh was too. We both stood there, holding trembling hands, trying not to cry. The reception at El Zocalo was really fun. We enjoyed talking with friends and relatives, eating Mexican food, and drinking margaritas. Thanks to everyone who was able to join us on the beginning of our new adventure! I only took a couple pictures, so here they are.
Traci, thanks for being a wonderful maid of honor.

South Mountain

Tahoe and I went hiking today. It was hot, and we saw lots of wildflowers. This is a strawberry hedgehog blossom.
Tahoe wasn't sure about this slot, so he waited until I went through first.
Ocotillo blooms.
Tahoe gazes at downtown Phoenix.
