The Rim

After camping in canyons for several days, I wanted a view.
The Mogollan Rim drops 2,000 feet.
Yellow columbines.

Pine white butterfly.

East Clear Creek

Tahoe among sunflowers.
East Clear Creek.
We saw deer, elk, and two wild turkeys.

Tahoe thought perhaps he could climb the pine tree to get a squirrel.

Arizona Trail

The Arizona Trail runs from Mexico to Utah. We hiked this 10 mile section in the Blue Ridge mountains.
Boulders along General Springs Creek.

I think Tahoe got a little hot.
We ended up at East Clear Creek and camped on a sandy outcropping. The frogs croaked all night long.

Fungus Fun

The fly agaric mushroom is the most beautiful.
This is the biggest mushroom I have ever seen. It was two feet long.
