Kauai

 
Chickens were everywhere, and the roosters crow all day long.

 
Spouting horn on the south shore.

 
They say the rooster is the "official" bird of Kauai.

Someone donated an ancient Chinese wall from the Qing Dynasty to the garden.

 
These vines were huge!

 
Spiders just like this lived in massive webs in the trees.

The Beach

 
The last day of the trip was sunny, and I couldn't wait to swim in the ocean.

 
Dozens of small crabs darted under rocks as I walked by.


 
Sea urchins hid in the holes of eroded rocks.
